Heather Murphy, LPC-S Bio:
Heather has been treating eating disorders for 17 years and worked at the inpatient, PHP, and IOP levels before transitioning to private practice ten years ago. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of The Feelings Healers, a diverse and inclusive group psychotherapy practice in Houston, TX. Heather is passionate about her work as an LPC supervisor and helping the messy misfits, specializing in co-morbid C-PTSD and eating disorders. She takes an EMDR, ACT-centered, attachment-based approach to therapy.
