Veganism and Eating Disorder Recovery: A Compassionate Perspective for Individualized Support

This webinar will discuss the unique considerations, challenges, and approaches for supporting our vegan clients in their eating disorder recovery by prioritizing curiosity, compassion, and autonomy. During our time together, we will address the big question, “Can people sustainably recover while remaining true to their vegan ethics and lifestyle?”

Following this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Compare and contrast veganism, plant-based eating, and other food preferences.
- List assessment questions to use with vegan clients.
- Understand warning signs that plant-based eating may be entangled with the eating disorder.
- Specify nutrients to assess for vegan clients.
Taylor Wolfram (she/her) Bio:
Taylor Wolfram, MS, RDN, LDN, (she/her/hers) is the owner of a weight-inclusive nutrition therapy practice. She is a Certified Befriending Your Body Teacher and works with adults who are interested in ditching the diet mentality, reconnecting with their bodies, and learning to trust their inner wisdom. She also specializes in vegan nutrition and created the Anti-Diet Vegan Nutrition Online Course.
Taylor lives with her husband, daughters, and kitties near Chicago and loves long walks with her family, cooking delicious food, going on hiking trips, and relaxing with a good book.
