Georgeanne Little MS RD LDN
Description
Since completing her supervised practice, Georgeanne has worked as a dietitian, where her role included individual and group therapy for clients struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. She develops individualized nutrition therapy plans for each client. She also helps clients understand how food works within their bodies and coaches them through various nutrition experiential. Georgeanne uses a non-diet approach to counsel individuals to challenge distorted food beliefs, learn to trust their body with food, eliminate “good” food/”bad” food thinking, and learn how ALL foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle.
Georgeanne received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Florida State and her master’s degree in Nutrition at Appalachian State University. Georgeanne has also served on the Orlando Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics board and is a member the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition subgroup, Behavioral Health Nutrition subgroup, The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, The of Central Florida’s International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
Georgeanne loves her work, getting to know her clients, listening to their stories and, most of all, witnessing their progress.
Georgeanne has a special passion for sports nutrition and particularly loves to work with athletes.
