We choose to use a different approach called The Non-Diet Approach (aligned with Health At Every Size – HAES), which may also be called mindful or intuitive eating. This is an evidenced-based, weight-inclusive approach.
Unlike other more restrictive and rigid dieting approaches, the Non-Diet Approach is flexible and promotes self-compassion and nonjudgmental curiosity. This approach works with your body's innate internal hunger and satiety cues and promotes mindful eating. This will enable you to build trust to determine what and how much to eat.
During discussions, we will identify eating behaviors that you would like to change and provide a clear pathway forward to assist you to meet these goals.
