Description: Appetite cues in eating disorder recovery can be tricky to navigate. For many, appetite cues are going to be pretty dysregulated which means they may not be particularly reliable for determining actual nutrition needs. There can also be A LOT of feelings about appetite cues including both distress related to feeling them and a desire to eat in response to them. This session will address the nuances of appetite cues in eating disorder recovery and nutrition interventions to support increased awareness of, regulation of, and responsiveness to them.
