Description
What is the MindFULL Eating Disorder Treatment Program?
The MindFULL program includes both “PHP” (partial hospitalization program) and “IOP” (Intensive Outpatient Program) level of care for adolescents ages 12-18 who are struggling with eating disorder behaviors. These levels of care are step-downs from Inpatient and Residential programs and can offer support to those needing more care than weekly or bi-weekly outpatient sessions. The MindFULL program involves a complete array of services throughout the treatment day including meal support, therapy, psychiatry and nursing. Each evening, the participants in this program return home to practice the skills learned and return the next day. Family is vital to the success of eating disorder recovery; the hard work continues in the home. In order to offer support to our families, we host a weekly “Family Connection,” here, we learn, connect and even eat together!

What treatment modalities do you use in your program?
Here at the MindFULL program, we believe a starving brain is not a healing brain. We also know that eating disorders do not occur on their own. Therefore, it is important to us to not only treat the eating disorder thoughts, behaviors and nutritional needs of our patients but also the therapeutic and clinical needs of other mental health struggles such as depression and anxiety. With the support of our private school, our patients are able to keep up with their school work while receiving level of care that they need.
Additionally, our master level clinicians utilize the following therapy approaches:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing
- Connected Movement
- Meditation and Mindfulness
- And many others depending on need!
What is the free assessment?
Our team offers a complimentary pre-admission screening which will be performed by a licensed master level clinician. This screening reviews the various components of life to identify the best opportunities to treat, support, and assist with healing. Every screening is reviewed collaboratively with our treatment team and a recommendation for next steps occurs on the spot!
Does your program accept insurance?
Our program does indeed accept insurances and many times the insurance plans covers this program completely. Our team offers free verification of benefits if finances are a concern!
Is your PHP program accredited?
Yes! Our program has been audited, and accredited, by the Joint Commission, which is a nationally based entity. Our program has met all of their standards, which total in excess of 400 different rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Is your treatment program research based?
Yes! All of our therapeutic modalities are rooted in research and have been proven to be effective. In addition, we measure our own progress/success rates for each individual we serve.
