Description
Helen is a counselor, accredited practicing dietitian, and family-based therapist with over 20 years of experience. She specializes in working with children and adolescents with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image issues. Helen also enjoys working with adolescents presenting with depression, anxiety, and trauma to help them create a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Helen has worked in both public and private settings and is currently working with young people and their families in the Paediatric Mental Health unit at the Austin Hospital as well as at Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV).
Helen has a very gentle and calm approach and uses a collaborative approach to help clients better understand their behaviors and work towards achieving their goals.
