Ally Lessa Nutrition
Description
Hi, I’m Ally (she/her), a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and compulsive exercise.
I approach this work with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. I know how powerful diet culture and nutrition misinformation can be in shaping our relationship with food, body, and movement—and how difficult it can be to untangle those beliefs on your own. My goal is to support you in rebuilding trust with your body and finding a more peaceful, flexible way of eating.
My work is grounded in a weight-inclusive, anti-diet approach, with a strong emphasis on Health at Every Size® and intuitive eating. I provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition therapy that honors your unique needs, rather than applying rigid rules or one-size-fits-all recommendations.
I have over 8 years of experience across multiple levels of eating disorder care, including residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. This allows me to meet you where you are—whether you’re early in recovery, stepping down from higher levels of care, or navigating long-standing patterns with food.
In our work together, we’ll explore your relationship with food, body image, and movement in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I’ll support you in challenging disordered thoughts and behaviors while offering practical, personalized strategies to help you move toward more consistent nourishment, increased flexibility, and a greater sense of ease around food.
I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Over time, many of my clients notice improvements in both their physical and emotional wellbeing, along with a stronger sense of trust in themselves and their choices.
I believe food can be a source of nourishment, enjoyment, and connection—and I’d be honored to support you in rediscovering that in a way that feels sustainable and freeing.
