Carly Heynes MS RDN LD CLC SEP
Description
Carly Heynes MS, RDN, LD, CLC, SEP (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and owner of Nutrition Rewritten, a nutrition therapy practice in West Los Angeles, California. She also serves as the Director of Nutrition for Camden Center, holding a foundational role in the development of the Whole Person Wellness program, designed to treat eating disorders and other disruptions to self-nourishment with flexibility and attunement. With over a decade in the field, she has held lead dietetic positions in various treatment environments across the continuum of care. Her background in relational feeding development has fostered a deep appreciation for the complexity and impact of our lived experiences, creating a highly nuanced lens for exploring relationships to food and body. Carly’s approach to nutrition therapy emphasizes body safety and autonomy as foundational to healing; supporting individuals to authentically come into connection with all parts of themselves. As a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), she uses a unique, intersectional lens to support individuals in honoring their body stories as they access regulation, renegotiate trauma, and deepen their capacity for body trust, self-attunement, and nourishment. Carly empowers her clients to give new meaning to nourishment, and to (re)define their own versions of wellness and healing.
