Katie Jeffrey, MS, RDN, CSSD, MB-EAT-QI, LDN, has been a registered dietitian nutritionist since 2007 and has a private practice in Westerly, Rhode Island, specializing in eating disorders, sports nutrition, intuitive eating and fueling, and the co-morbidity of OCD and food and eating fears. She is also a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition, a Licensed Be Body Positive Facilitator, and a Qualified Instructor of MB-EAT (MB-EAT-QI) trained through the Mindful Eating Training Institute (METI). Katie is the co-author of “The OCD Workbook for Food and Eating Fears.” She is honored to be the co-founder and co-leader of IOCDF’s Eating Disorders and OCD Special Interest Group. She promotes a weight-neutral, health at every size, non-diet mindful and intuitive eating and fueling philosophy. Katie is passionate about increasing mental health awareness to help others receive effective treatment in a timely manner. Her mission is to empower individuals to honor their inner wisdom, make peace with food, feel comfortable in their body, cultivate a nourishing self-care practice and enjoy a lifetime of emotional resiliency by bringing greater awareness, curiosity and compassion to their behaviors, thoughts and feelings.
