Shame and the Self: Understanding Its Role in Eating Disorder Struggles
January 28, 2026 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PST

This webinar will cover what shame is, its impact, and how to relieve or reduce it for ongoing healing and growth. As an MFT, my perspective also includes acknowledging the role of family and other support systems on the development and maintenance for views of self, as well as healthy uses of boundaries alongside allyship in the growth and recovery process. The primary goal would be to provide a healthy perspective for practitioners to see and understand the role of shame in ED struggles, as well as feel more confident in their ability to reduce the barrier role of shame in their healing and recovery efforts. |
