Dr. Anupama (Anu) Das was born in Kerala, India and has been living in the US since 1976. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago with special honors in Biology. She completed her medical degree from the University of Alabama, and then spent time working and studying in India before she completed her pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota. After taking time to be at home with her children, she completed her retraining fellowship at the Children’s Hospital Colorado Pediatric Residency program. Most recently, Dr. Das completed both her preventive medicine residency as Chief Resident and her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Colorado, Anschutz.

Dr. Das believes that because the underlying cause and therefore treatment of eating disorders is complex, a multifaceted approach is necessary. Connection between providers and patients is crucial to ensure that a respectful patient-centered approach is utilized to help individuals live their life while emphasizing their values. Dr. Das is excited to be part of the Gaudiani Clinic team where her values are embodied by the care model.
