Britt Berger MS RD // Britt Nutrition
Description
I am a Boston, MA-based registered dietitian. In addition to Massachusetts, I am licensed to practice in New York, Maine, and North Carolina and can work with clients in Michigan and Arizona as well. I most recently worked as the dietitian at Monte Nido Laurel Hill, a residential program for adults with eating disorders, from 2016 through 2020. I also have significant experience at PHP and IOP levels of care with both Monte Nido in Boston and Center for Discovery in Connecticut. I began my private practice, Britt Nutrition, in late 2019. All sessions are currently being conducted virtually. My clients frequently describe me as compassionate, yet firm and practical, with a good dose of humor mixed in. I strive to help clients heal their relationship with food, exercise, and body image through a non-weight focussed and intuitive eating-based approach. I work with clients to identify THEIR goals (not mine) and then help them develop skills and tools to achieve those goals. I believe that full recovery is possible. Nutrition was a career change for me. I graduated from Hunter College in New York City with a Masters degree in Nutrition after spending five years in the banking industry. I spent most of my life thinking that I could never be happy living anywhere other than New York but I moved to Boston in 2016 and am now proud to call myself a New Englander. I love finding new beaches, eating all the seafood, Vermont (cheese and skiing is the perfect combination in my opinion), and exploring Acadia. I consider myself a decent+ cook and love trying new recipes, especially from Julia Childs, Smitten Kitchen, and NYT Cooking.
