Rare Mind and Body
Description
Our approach to eating disorder treatment is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. We understand that eating disorders are often connected to deeper emotional, relational, and nervous system experiences—not simply food or willpower.
Treatment focuses on:
- reducing shame
- rebuilding body trust
- increasing emotional awareness
- nervous system regulation
- understanding underlying patterns
- developing sustainable coping tools
- reconnecting with self
- fostering an intuitive relationship with food and movement
Our care is individualized and may integrate psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic approaches, meal support, and collaborative care coordination when appropriate.
