In this video, the RD will discuss what food exposures are, the basics and purpose of ERPT in eating disorder treatment, and the “dos and don’ts” of food exposures.

Bio:
Leigh-Ann Bamberg has served as a member of the Magnolia Creek team for over seven years. She currently serves as the Director of Nutrition Services and takes pride in the care and supervision she has the opportunity to provide for each client who enters Magnolia Creek. Leigh-Ann has worked in the area of behavioral health and more specifically, eating disorder care, for close to a decade and is certain Magnolia Creek is currently where she is called to serve.
While Leigh-Ann’s nutrition philosophy surrounding restoration and recovery is ultimately founded in planting the seeds of the intuitive eating and health at every size principles, her ultimate goal and desire is to help clients break free from the chains of their eating disorder to rediscover their purpose in who they were created to be.
Leigh-Ann has completed the IAEDP training required to be a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor and in addition to client care, enjoys providing supervision for dietitians looking to grow and evolve in their eating disorder practice.

Leigh-Ann initially graduated from The University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She then continued her education at The University of Alabama and earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Food and Nutrition. As someone who has gone through the treatment and recovery process, Leigh-Ann desires to help others discover true freedom and body acceptance in the same way that she was able.
