Jillian Mergruen, RD, CDN is a registered dietitian based in the New York City area. She specializes in disordered eating and eating disorder treatment as well as other nutrition-related issues, like diabetes and GI nutrition. Jillian would be a great fit for you if you notice that you are often pre-occupied with food or your body, struggle with feeling chaotic or in control around food, or if it feels hard to feel confident in your food choices.
Jillian works with her clients to instill mindful eating and intuitive eating practices. She encourages her clients to integrate the mindset that all foods fit and focuses on eating balanced meals and snacks. She works with her clients to find more compassion for themselves in their food choices and body image struggles.
Jillian has experience with all eating disorders, including Anorexia, Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia, ARFID and OSFED. She works with clients of all ages and gender identities, with majority of experience between ages 14 through 65. Jillian prides herself on being a HAES-focused (Health at Every Size)-aligned and weight inclusive dietitian.
