Sarah Torres, MS, RD, LD Bio:
Sarah Torres is a Registered Dietitian specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. She played a key role in launching and developing the UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders PHP and IOP, contributing to program development and expanding access to evidence-based, FBT-informed care. She is experienced in supporting families through nutrition rehabilitation with an emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and empowering caregivers as central to recovery. Sarah recently transitioned to a role as a dietitian with Equip Health, where she continues supporting adolescents, young adults, and families navigating eating disorders. She also owns a small private practice, A Thought on Your Plate, LLC, where she offers a limited number of nutrition sessions and supervision for dietitians.
